Apex Generation
A new generation holds the power to reshape the world.
Raised under the suffocating control of her wealthy family, Kabyra never felt truly free. When a devastating fire destroys her stepfather’s study, she’s blamed and forced to flee. On the run and betrayed by those she trusted, Kabyra discovers within herself a raw, supernatural force—powerful, destructive… and uncontrollable.

About the author

Karine Raymond was born in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (Quebec, Canada). She studied Arts at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme and went on to study Graphic Design at UQAM. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she worked for a publishing house in Montréal, then became a freelance graphic designer. At the same time, she studied literature at TÉLUQ and started writing the Rannaï series.
Between graphic design contracts, she writes novels, short stories, and publishes French articles on her web site. Nestled on a mountain in the Laurentians, she explores the concept of food resilience by creating an organic vegetable, medicinal and forest garden. While she’s busy working, she hopes her dog Nabi and the resident groundhog will leave her something to harvest.
